Choethun (Tib. ཆོས་མཐུན་) is the official website of Kyabje Choney Rangshar Rinpoche, popularly known as Tang Rinpoche. As the title implies: choe (Dharma) and thun (in conformity), it promotes Buddhist teachings and relates to Rinpoche’s first name – Choney, his monastery – Chedeypung Dratshang, and other organisations established by this dzogchen master.

The annual Vajrakilaya (Dorje Phurba) and Ling Gesar drubchos were held at Choedaypung from Saturday, Oct 28 until Saturday, Nov 4. Ceremonies and offerings were traditionally accompanied by ritual dances.
Today, on the 25th day of the 7th month of the Female Water Rabbit Year, a baby girl has been born to their Majesties The Druk Gyalpo and Gyaltsuen in Lingkana Palace, Thimphu. Kyabje Tang Rinpoche and the whole Choedeypung community share their joy and offer long life prayers for the whole Royal Family.
Dolma puja སྒྲོལ་ཆོག started today at the Choedaypung Monastery, under the guidance of Kyabje Tang Rinpoche.
