A four-day Gelphu Mindfulness City (GMC) event began today under the guidance of His Royal Highness the King of Bhutan. Participants included Team 22, the BIFA China–Bhutan group, senior teachers such as H.H. Tang Rinpoche and Jigme Tenzin Rinpoche, as well as members of the monastic community. The program unfolded in a spirit of joy, gratitude, and collective inspiration.

Today is the 7th day of the lunar calendar, an auspicious occasion marking Sagadawa and the birthday of Lord Buddha. It is also the anniversary of the coronation of the Fourth King of Bhutan.
