Reflections on Participation
Joining Rinpoche’s online teachings is a precious opportunity to practise mindfulness and the discipline of body, speech, and mind. To show respect for the teacher, please join the session before the teachings begin. It is traditional for students to wait for the teacher, not the other way around.
Sit in front of your device in an attentive and appropriate manner, dressed as you would for an in-person teaching. Remain in silence, avoid distractions, and focus fully on the Dharma. In this way, you express respect for the Three Jewels and for the teacher who embodies them, while also creating the conditions to accumulate merit.
