Choethun (Tib. ཆོས་མཐུན་) to oficjalna strong Jego Eminencji Choney Rangshar Rinpoche, znanego również jako Tang Rinpoche. Tytuł strony łączy w sobie dwa wyrazy: choe (Dharma) i thun (zgodny). To commemorate the parinirvāṇa of the great master Longchen Rabjam, monks from Choedaypung Monastery performed a puja presided over by Tulku Shenphen. Meanwhile, His Holiness Tang Rinpoche and a small group of students went to meditate in Longchenpa’s cave. During the meditation, Rinpoche reported receiving a pure vision, through which he wrote down a treasure text.
At the request of a group of naljorpas and naljormas who successfully completed the Anuyoga retreat, His Holiness Tang Rinpoche agreed to bestow Atiyoga transmission and teachings. Rinpoche has also established a steering committee for the Yoedsel Dzogchen Tshogpa, which will be responsible for organizing Dzogpachenpo retreats and teachings in the future.
