Today, Kyabje Rinpoche visited the Middle Secondary School in Chumey, Bumthang to consecrate new prayer wheels and give teachings about the benefits of saving lives. Rinpoche explained how one can accumulate merits by saving even small animals, including insects and aquatic living beings. Rinpoche requested that all participants take an oath to abstain from killing or harming any sentient beings, and instead, to exert efforts in protecting and saving lives.
This was followed by giving blessing and precious substances to the participants.
