Push-to-connect PEX fitting for faster installation compared to traditional PEX rough-in plumbing methods. Requires no special tools, crimp / clamp / PEX rings, increasing productivity. Securely and permanently cap the end of PEX pipe. Can be rotated after connected, and is ideal for working in tight spaces. Green visual indicator lets you know when PEX tubing is inserted to the proper depth and reduces the risk of installation errors.

SharkBite EvoPEX End Caps are the easiest way to cap off your PEX tubing lines. With no soldering, clamps, unions or glue required, it’s as simple as inserting the pipe into the push-to-connect fitting deep enough to be sealed by our specially-formulated O-ring. Once inserted, the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe. A green indicator ring will become fully visible in four slots around the fitting to visually display that the permanent inner-diameter connection is secure. This push-to-connect fitting is designed to make PEX-to-PEX connections in potable water and radiant heating (including underground or behind-the-wall) applications with no access panels required. Fittings are rated to 80 psi @ 200°F, 100 psi @ 180°F, and 160 psi @ 73.4°F.
