Today is the 7th day of the lunar calendar, an auspicious occasion marking Sagadawa and the birthday of Lord Buddha. It is also the anniversary of the coronation of the Fourth King of Bhutan. On this special day, the monks of Choedaypung have planted trees and launched a gardening program at our monastery.
On 26th march 2025, Khenchen Pema Sherab Rinpoche bestowed ordination vows to the monks of Chhoedaypung Monastery, led by Kathok Tulku Tenzin Jigme Dorji at Gangtey Goenpa in Wangduephodrang
His Holiness Tang Rinpoche arrives at the National Memorial Chorten to preside over events held from 21st to 29th of June 2024 and coordinated by Chhoedeypung Monastery, Bumthang. Rinpoche will also bestow the transmission of Ugyen Guru Rinpoche and the teachings on Jampel Zhidrup revealed by His Holiness Jigme Phuntshok. He will bestow the empowerment, oral transmission and instruction to this profound terma.
