His Holiness Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche

Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok Jungné (Tib. འཇིགས་མེད་ཕུན་ཚོགས་འབྱུང་གནས་) (1933-2004) was recognised as the incarnation of Tertön Sogyal Lerab Lingpa and an emanation of Mipham Rinpoche. He became famous for establishing a Buddhist Institute in Eastern Tibet for more than 10,000 of his students, known as Larung Gar in Sertar. Rinpoche also revealed a number of tarmas in Tibet, Bhutan, China, Nepal and India.
