Gongkhar gompa in Bumthang
It is one of retreat centres supervised and frequented by Kyabje Tang Rinpoche. It is popular because of many great practitioners who stayed there, especially a buddhist nun Gelongma Palmo. A room for Rinpoche was created just besides her cave.
Kulibung gompa in Trongsa
A small old temple up in the mountains which can only be reached on foot. It has been offered to Rinpoche by local people.
