A 60 min talk by Khandro Tshedum Lhamo (part 1) will be held via Zoom on Saturday, Dec 18 at 2pm (Warsaw, Amstrdam time). It will begin a series of talks about Kurukulla. Khandro will bestow oral transmission to Kurukulla sadhana discovered by Khenchen Jigme Phunshok Rinpoche, explain about its origins and the enlightened qualities of Red Tara.
Monks moving to Kurizampa for winter
Monks have just moved to their winter residence in Pemayueling Monastery in Kurizampa, Mongar.
Annual exam at the Chodaypung shedra
Monks were taking their annual exam at the monastic school. Weather conditions allowed for making this on the square outside the monastery.
Consecration of the choekhang
The new choekhang (butter lamp house) for making butter lamp offerings, which has been built near the Dolma temple was consecrated today by Kyabje Tang Rinpoche. Holy statues were installed at the top of the house.
Prayer wheel inauguration and techings in Chumey
Today, Kyabje Rinpoche visited the Chumey Mss School in Bumthang to consecrate new prayer wheels and give teachings about the benefits of saving lives. This was followed by giving blessing and precious substances to the participants.
Visiting the Samtengang Central School
During Kyabje Rinpoche’s visit at the Samtengang Central School in Wangdiphodrang, he was giving a teachings on the benefits of saving lives of all living creatures. Rinpoche’s talk was followed by an empowerment and oral transmission.
Tsethar on Buddha Amitabha day
On the New Moon, Rinpoche and a small group of students performed tshethar by a river. Rinpoche has been continuously stressing the benefits of protecting and saving lives. He has been encouraging students to develop compassion and kindness to all living beings. Rinpoche emphasises that saving lives does not require establishing organisations or making investments.
2021 Ling Gayser dances ending annual drubchen
On October 25th and 26th, lamas from the Chodaypung Monastery performed the traditional Ling Gayser dances at the end of the annual drubchen.
Annual Gayser drubchen at Choedaypung
This year, the annual Gayser drubchen is held by Kyabje Tang Rinpoche from the 20th until the 27th of October. On the 25th and 26th, Ling Gayser’s warrior dance will also be performed.
Celebrating Rinpoche’s 60th birthday
Today, family and disciples celebrated the 60th birthday of Kyabje Tang Rinpoche. Greetings and prayers were sent from people from all corners of the world.
